Laboratory Technician I

Laboratory Technician I position at Eurofins in Des Moines, IA, working second shift (4pm-12:30am). The role involves sample preparation, analytical testing, equipment operation, and record-keeping while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and weigh sample batches according to established protocols
- Perform timely and accurate sample analysis using appropriate methods and techniques
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and enter data into eLIMS in timely manner
- Operate required laboratory equipment and maintain clean glassware and solutions
- Identify analytical difficulties and propose solutions to department leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate degree, or 1+ years of laboratory experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Independent problem-solver with responsive, action-oriented approach
- Proficiency in at least one core analytical method
