Laboratory Technician
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a laboratory technician for lipids testing on third shift (12am-8:30am) in Des Moines. The role involves sample preparation, testing, data recording, and maintaining laboratory quality standards in a diagnostic testing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily sample assaying and testing from work lists
- Set up sample batches, weigh samples, and prepare testing solutions
- Record test data and results in logbooks and eLIMS system accurately
- Maintain clean and safe laboratory environment; dispose of hazardous waste properly
- Identify analytical difficulties and report with proposed solutions to supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma with 0-3 years laboratory experience
- Basic understanding of ISO 17025 guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
- Independent problem-solving and action-oriented mindset
