About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Business Development to lead strategic initiatives that expand market presence and drive revenue growth within the insurance and risk management sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, brokers, and consultants to establish long-term partnerships. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to align sales strategies with organizational objectives, contributing to the creation of innovative sales plans, and ensuring seamless onboarding processes for new clients. The AVP will also be expected to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for customized solutions, and maintain a hybrid work schedule to optimize productivity. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, or a related field, with 6-8 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in insurance or risk management. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships is essential, and experience with Third Party Administrator (TPA) services is highly advantageous. The role requires strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Salesforce and Excel for data management and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to travel up to 50% for client engagements and industry events.
