Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Brooklyn, NY / Fully onsite/ open to one work from home day on Fridays.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Required Software: JustWorks

Preferred: Homebase

Position Overview:

Our client, a major player in the BK community, is seeking an experienced and organized HR Generalist to oversee daily human resources operations, employee relations, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing HR software platforms, specifically Homebase and JustWorks, to ensure seamless payroll, scheduling, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, offboarding, and employee maintenance.

- Utilize JustWorks for payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance management.

- Oversee time tracking, shift scheduling, and team communication using Homebase.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.

- Ensure all HR practices align with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources role.

- Demonstrated proficiency in both Homebase and JustWorks is required.

- Strong understanding of general human resources policies, payroll processes, and employment law.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
