A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy site in Waseca, MN. This role focuses on providing long-term care pharmacy services, perfect for candidates with experience in long-term care settings who are interested in a travel position.
Location:
- Waseca, MN
Schedule:
- 20-30 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Some weekend shifts required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform long-term care pharmacist duties, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications
- Review medication orders and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy
- Provide medication counseling and support to patients in long-term care settings
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Manage inventory and documentation according to facility protocols
Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with applicable state licensure
- Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Willingness to travel for assignment
