Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a knowledgeable pharmacist seeking to provide specialized care in a long-term care setting. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts, allowing for balance and focus.
Location:
- Waseca, Minnesota
Responsibilities:
- Perform responsibilities typical of a Long Term Care Pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for residents
- Provide medication therapy management and counsel patients or caregivers as needed
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support immunization efforts and participate in related clinical duties
Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacy license with experience as a Staff Pharmacist or Retail Pharmacist
- PharmD preferred; candidates with Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification are highly desirable
- Immunization Certification and CPR Certification required to ensure compliance and patient safety
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a specialty pharmacy setting
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Some weekend hours required
