Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Driver Dispatch Operations in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, dispatch resources, and maintain accurate incident documentation. This driving post requires a professional who can provide exceptional customer service, remain responsive to evolving situations, and help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific and security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications, dispatching appropriate personnel and documenting incidents in accordance with site procedures. Coordinate communications between site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders to support timely responses to incidents and critical situations. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records related to access, deliveries, and operational activity in an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
