This Level III trauma facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient pulmonary critical care coverage on an on-site basis. The facility is staffed to accommodate locum tenens clinicians and provides hospital-based support staff to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Clinical resources are in place to ensure continuity of pulmonary and critical care services throughout each assigned coverage period.

Nebraska offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. Outdoor enthusiasts will find options for hiking, fishing, and exploration at state parks throughout the region. Cultural and leisure activities are available across the state, providing a well-rounded experience during time away from clinical responsibilities.

The clinician will provide inpatient pulmonary critical care coverage on a day shift and 24-hour call basis, remaining on-site for approximately 8 hours per day before continuing call responsibilities from home. Daily rounding on all confirmed patients is required for each assigned coverage day. Required procedures include bronchoscopy, central line placement, and intubation. Hospital staff provide inpatient support, and an APP is available in the clinic as a resource throughout the coverage period.
