Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Immediate openings NOW in Tomball, TX. Temp to hire 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. Pay $17/hr. Summary: The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for surging pre-cut patterns and able to sew pieces together to form complete parts/mats. Essential Functions: Operate industrial sewing machines and perform Serger/Overlock and top stitching. Guide parts under needle following edges, seams, and guides on machine bed or markings on part. Industrial sewing including top stitching. Cut and organize sewing supplies such as binding, webbing, cord, tape, or thread according to specific specifications or color of material as stated on work order. Maintain raw material, cut excess thread or material. Use proper equipment, tools, and fabrication techniques. Responsible for using a tape measure. Responsible for handling, positioning, and moving materials through the sewing and other manufacturing operations. Maintain attention to quality and details of the finished product. Qualifications: Must have Serger sewing machine experience: Minimum 3 year (Required) Sewing/Upholstering experience preferred Attention to detail Demonstrate mechanical skills Must be able to read a tape measure TPI Corporation
