This position includes observing and giving one on one feedback to staff conducting medication pass, reviewing medication carts and rooms for medication storage compliance and safety, conducting in-services for medication administration, and checking clinical documentation./ppThis position territory will cover the states of Minnesota, Iowa and parts of Wisconsin. Travel will be 80% of the work week with overnight stays required./ppPrimary Job Duties Responsibilities:/ppThis position will perform the duties below by working on-site in various client facilities within long term care:/pulliMeet with customers to present Omnicare Nursing Services and promote utilization of support tools and programs/liliEvaluate regulatory compliance and determine clinical education needs for SNF/ Senior Living customers as it relates to pharmacy services/liulliReview medication carts and medication rooms for proper medication storage/liliObserve medication pass and provide feedback to staff and leadership/liliReview charts for proper documentation of medication management/liliConduct review of orders to medications being delivered by pharmacy to ensure order accuracy/li/ulliIdentify and provide recommendations regarding deficiencies and opportunities around drug inventories, storage, and distribution/liliProvide clinical training to facility staff, typically in small groups of 10-15 staff members/liliManage resolution of customer issues and requests/liliAssist with onboarding new facilities to pharmacy processes/li/ulpRequired Qualifications:/pulliLicensed nurse (LPN/LVN) with current license in state of employment; additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas/liliEstablished experience in nursing field with recent experience that may include direct patient care, physical assessment, clinical education, and group in-servicing in the long -term care setting/liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications/liliAbility to travel regularly, up to 80%/liliValid drivers license and ability to drive long distances/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliLong term care clinical experience/li/ulpEducation:/pulliLicensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse/li/ulpAnticipated Weekly Hours/pp40/ppTime Type/ppFull time/ppPay Range/ppThe typical pay range for this role is:/pp$46,597.00 - $101,228.00/ppThis pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
