Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Entry of orders in Pharmacy System
• Assists pharmacist in preparation of prescription orders.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies and orders.
• Counts stock to maintain inventory records.
• Ensures security of Protected Health Information as per HIPAA requirements.
• Answer and direct phone calls, pull supplies for orders as needed.
• Ring out customers on POS register as needed and assist with product selection.
• Maintain pharmacy as clean area.

Qualified candidate requirements:

• Registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy
• Must be able to work part time or Full time shifts which may include weekends
• Store hours are 9 AM to 6 PM on Monday to Friday and 9 AM. to 1 PM on Saturday
• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Will have 1-2 years pharmacy technician related experience (desired)
• Computer knowledge a plus (BESTRX)
• Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds
• Applicant is subject to Drug Screen and Criminal background check

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Required)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)
