Client Success Advisor

Job Overview States considered: All US locations in Pacific time zone (California, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho). Platinum Client Success Advisors provide exceptional service, advisement and order‑taking to clients and veterinarians that call, email, and text Platinum Performance daily. They are smart thinkers, self‑starters, engaged listeners, and provide educated recommendations and solutions to our clients. Advisors will occasionally represent Platinum Performance at equine and canine events and veterinary conferences, work with multiple teams throughout the client experience, and occasionally travel to internal events at the Platinum Performance headquarters. The role reports to the Client Success Manager, who assesses performance quarterly and guides the Advisor toward progression. High performers may be promoted to Senior Client Success Advisor. Position Responsibilities Provide exceptional service, advisement and order‑taking for clients and veterinarians. Apply critical thinking to recommend supplements for clients and their animals. Serve and nurture client relationships to achieve a targeted NPS and retention. Compose clear electronic correspondence via email and text, recommending products that produce results or solve moderately complex problems. Work cohesively with fellow Advisors and the Client Success Manager to learn with a growth mindset. Seek input from other Advisors or assist as a resource for minimally complex problems. Collaborate cross‑functionally with departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, and Shipping. Education & Experience Knowledge and/or background experience of equine or small animal nutritional products, or the equine industry. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Animal Science, Nutrition, Agricultural Business, or related fields. Technical Skills Requirements Knowledge of equine or small animal nutritional products or the equine industry. Accurate communication on subjects of equine and small animal nutritional products. Ability to perform a variety of tasks using creativity and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with clients and team members. Additional Skills Language ability: reading business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations; writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Active listening: giving full attention, asking questions, not interrupting inappropriate times. Math ability: basic math skills required. Reasoning ability: applying common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Computer and equipment skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Web Mail. Presentation skills: knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques. Administration and management skills: business management, strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, leadership techniques, coordination of people and resources. Personnel management skills: developing, motivating, and directing people; identifying the best people for the job. Judgment: exhibits sound judgment, supports and explains decisions. Mental toughness: maintains composure in difficult situations. Physical Position Requirements Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. Regularly talks and types, reads and sits. Occasionally stands, walks, and drives. Occasional pushing, grasping, reaching with hands/arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Some travel required; quiet work environment and internet access provided. Compensation & Benefits The US hourly rate range for this full‑time position is $28.00 – $44.00. The range displayed reflects the base pay target for new hires; individual pay is determined by location and additional factors.
