Travel RN - Labor and Delivery

Location: Alaska

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The RN will provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. This position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during labor and delivery in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform clinical assessments and interventions for labor and delivery patients.
• Collaborate with surgical techs and other nursing staff in various procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and families during the labor process.
• Participate in initiatives to promote safe and effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience in labor triage and OR circulator roles (C-section, tubal ligation, etc.)
• Newborn resuscitation experience required
