Foundry: Caster Helper
**Hours: Typical hours for this position are 3:00am-1:00pm
Please note: this role is based in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Help the foundry team with preparation and planning
- Prepping the "melt" chemistry for the next day
- Assist Caster with pouring metals
- Assist Caster with mold cleaning
- Maintain safe work practices
Required Skills/Abilities :
- High School Diploma/GED
- Read & understand engineered drawings, sketches, schematics, and layouts.
- Demonstrate a consistent safe work attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
