Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology Physician – Pennsylvania

Start Date: October 26-30 and December 28-31 (coverage dates available)

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no call required; up to 40 hours per week once per month and as needed for vacation coverage

Highlights:

  • Comprehensive electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker implants, ICD implants (traditional and subcutaneous), loop recorder implant/explant, and ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER)
  • Dedicated support staff with 1 assigned clinical team for outpatient care and 1 assigned APP for inpatient care
  • Manageable patient volume: 16 outpatients and 10-15 inpatients per day; adult patient population ages 18-100
  • EPIC EMR system in use at a 270-bed hospital facility
  • Opportunity to work in academic/training, clinic/private practice, and hospital settings
  • Temporary privileges available for urgent needs with clean credentialing files (90-day standard credentialing timeframe)

Requirements:

  • Medical degree with specialty training in Cardiology/Electrophysiology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand required
  • Current DEA certification
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Clean malpractice history (no settlements over $500K; no more than 3 settlements; cases over 20 years may be considered)
  • Current NPDB self-query within 6 months
