Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and develop a comprehensive understanding of each patient's needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices, addressing the specific circumstances, challenges, and goals of each patient.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications safely and effectively, including monitoring their impact, efficacy, and any necessary dosage adjustments.
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic methodologies, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to coordinate and address various aspects of patient care, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and self-care techniques to empower them in managing their health.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records of treatment effectiveness, medication responses, and symptom changes.
• Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to assess ongoing treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
