Work Environment

In this role, you will work onsite at our outpatient facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our facility is equipped with advanced medical technology and a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth. The usual work schedule will consist of 12-hour shifts, totaling approximately 36 to 40 hours per week. This structure supports 24/7 patient coverage, allowing for flexibility while promoting a productive work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding disease management, medication adherence, and follow-up care requirements.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary rounds to communicate effectively about patient needs and progress.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions in electronic medical records, adhering to all legal and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and promoting best practices.
• Stay informed about the latest healthcare advancements, regulations, and procedures to maintain an exceptional standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of health issues from chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension to acute conditions requiring immediate attention. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathize with patients of various backgrounds will be essential in providing comprehensive care tailored to each individual.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active nursing license in the state of Texas.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; a Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient setting is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package with a salary range of USD 120,000 to 220,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
