About the Position

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Regular schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call coverage required some Thursdays
• Monthly call rotation of approximately 10-12 call days per month
• Weekend call rotated among team members
• Must be able to report within established call-back response time
• 1:1 patient care ratio in the operating room
• Perform scrub technologist duties for cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair and replacement, TAVR procedures, aortic aneurysm repairs, vascular surgical procedures, and open heart surgery
• Work with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation, heart-lung bypass equipment, endoscopic vein harvesting equipment, cell saver, surgical microscopes, and specialty cardiovascular equipment
• Must participate in scheduled call rotation
• Must maintain competencies for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Must be able to work independently in a high-acuity CVOR setting
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• CVOR/Open heart surgery scrub experience required
• Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures required
