Strategy Director, Experience Columbus

Landor is looking for a Strategy Director, Experience to join our Columbus studio. Could this be you? What you’ll do You will focus on building deeper strategic client partnerships and growing potential partnerships through creative solutions. You'll bring CX strategy to the table, develop custom ideations for our biggest clients, and connect insights to brand experiences, product & service innovations, and activation/company culture strategy. Define opportunities, insights, and frameworks for the Design Team to deliver increased brand awareness and revenue growth. Partner with the Design Team to elevate brands across all touch‑points, including Physical, Human, and Digital experiences. Contribute to the strategic vision and overall brand growth. Craft compelling storylines and brand experience strategies grounded in consumer insight and data. Coordinate with internal or external partners in customer insights, digital design, service design, prototyping, and related fields. Develop and facilitate workshop approaches, agendas, and exercises to co‑create a common vision for future‑state retail customer experience. Analyze and articulate Customer Experience work visually and in writing, defining business vertical or workstream requirements. Encourage and support team development and practice growth, extending new services lines and value for clients. Lead research into best‑in‑class customer experience programs, customer insights, retail trends, and technology. What you’ll need Demonstrated ability to solve problems using Customer Experience design‑thinking methodology. Knowledge of cross‑channel customer journey mapping techniques and storyboarding. Excellent communication skills across peers, client stakeholders, and other disciplines. Ability to handle multiple projects and challenges simultaneously with enthusiasm. Passion for rapidly building expertise on new businesses and industry verticals. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to work in cross‑functional teams in high‑pressure situations. Strong experience communicating broad strategic initiatives to key stakeholders. Please note that this role requires regular onsite travel and in‑person collaboration in Bentonville, Arkansas.
