Certified Nurse Midwife

Private practice South Atlanta Ob/Gyn group is currently seeking an experienced and professional Certified Nurse Midwife to join our collaborative team-oriented approach to OBGYN care. The ideal candidate will assist in the hospital/labor and delivery call schedule, manage laboring patients within the scope of midwifery care, conduct antepartum and postpartum hospital rounding, and provide support to nurses and physicians in the office regarding obstetric patients. Our practice delivers at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia. The Certified Nurse Midwife is required to hold a current Georgia Advanced Practice RN license, CNM license, and be a graduate of an accredited school of midwifery. Fetal monitoring/NST interpretation is a necessary skill, and 2-3 years of previous CNM experience is preferred, with previous L&D nursing experience considered an asset.
