CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist

Pay: $25-35/hr with 15% shift differential

2nd Shift: Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am) - Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks

Description:

• Our CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating our HNK Mill. In addition they are focused on maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment/ supplies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Milling machines/horizontal boring mills is ideal
• 5+ years of experience in set-up, creating fixtures, and starting your own machine in a job shop environment
• MasterCam programming experience is a plus

• Knowledge of and experience with machine and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance
• Metals and the quality and machinability and uses of metals, alloys and other materials
• Mechanically inclined, and understand manufacturing techniques
• Ability to prioritize and review work
• Ability to effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment
• Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches and work orders
• Ability to maintain routine records
• Ability to move or transfer products with a hoist or overhead crane.
• Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision
• Work overtime as/if needed
