Scrum MasterWe are seeking a Scrum Master with a technical background and a passion for Agile to support development efforts for critical systems on a mission-critical program within Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Your position interacts with business, management, end users and agile delivery teams.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the team in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives.Implement, enforce and continually improve Agile/Scrum principles/ practicesAssess team's Agile maturity and coach teams to higher levels of maturityProvide mentoring and training for the team on Agile processes, methods, and practicesProactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processesFacilitate positive team dynamics to maximize team performanceIdentify and remove impediments to help protect the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the team's ability to deliverExperience in managing professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignmentsLeads, directs and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignmentsManages a team with a focus on policy, implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day to day deliverablesBasic QualificationsAt least five (5) years of experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban, supporting Agile effortsCoaching, leading, facilitating meetings, holding the team accountable, being accountable for the process and the productProviding servant leadership style support to teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience participating in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated CM teamSolid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approachUnderstanding of all elements of the software development life cycleHighly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starterAbout AmiveroAmivero is a team of driven IT professionals motivated by challenges that allow us to be positively influential in the advancement of our nation.
