Additional sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience. Earnings Starting Compensation Range: $30.45 - $43.43 per hour Sign‑On Bonus: Maximum $5,000 payable in two equal installments after 90 and 180 days. Minimum three years experience qualifies for full bonus; less than three years qualifies for $2,000. What You Will Do Apply expert level troubleshooting techniques to determine proper repair procedures on assigned work orders. Service, diagnose, and repair or rebuild all engine and component parts, regardless of model or maker, including electrical, computers, and monitors at customer job sites. Disassemble, inspect, determine part needs, and reassemble to factory specifications. Interact with customers and answer repair‑related questions; refer non‑repair related questions to supervisor. Perform heavy electrical and computer repairs. Interpret and utilize information from operating, maintenance, and service manuals and bulletins. Inspect removed components to evaluate reusability. Prepare parts requisitions, returns, accurate service reports, and other necessary documentation. Document all work and repairs clearly and concisely in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work area, tools, and equipment. Perform various other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Minimum of four years of experience repairing heavy construction equipment (preferred). Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing expert‑level mechanical repairs. High school diploma or GED (required). Knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical and related components to troubleshoot and analyze complex issues quickly. Excellent mechanical aptitude. Ability to repair Caterpillar and compatible components and machines. Excellent driving record. Ability to obtain a CDL. Ability to obtain DOT certification with medical card. Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self‑direction and strong organizational skills.
