Product Owner

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Product Owner. This candidate will work directly alongside a Senior Product Manager supporting a growing suite of connected solutions products designed to provide customers with a single-pane-of-glass view into their jobsite operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys transforming business needs into actionable user stories and prioritized backlog items. This role will be heavily focused on requirements management, backlog grooming, documentation, and partnering with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Associate Product Manager looking to grow under strong product leadership while gaining exposure to SaaS platforms, connected technologies, data integration initiatives, and enterprise-scale Agile product development. Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Senior Product Manager to support multiple Connected Solutions product lines

• Groom, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs

• Create, refine, and document user stories and acceptance criteria

• Translate business requirements into detailed, actionable development work

• Work with engineering teams and Scrum Masters to clarify requirements during sprint planning and development

• Move approved requirements and stories into Jira for execution

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather feedback and identify product enhancements

• Assist with managing a connected jobsite platform that consolidates multiple services into a single customer portal

• Support products involving security monitoring, worker access management, telemetry, fuel monitoring, and other connected asset services

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives

• Help ensure product requirements align with business objectives and customer needs

• Work alongside teams focused on data integration, mapping, and enrichment initiatives

• Manage requirements across multiple products rather than supporting a single application

• Support user acceptance testing and product validation activities

Skills and Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, or similar role

• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories

• Strong backlog grooming and backlog management experience

• Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Jira experience

• Experience working closely with development teams and Scrum teams

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage requirements across multiple workstreams

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience partnering with technical and business teams

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills - Confluence experience

• SaaS product experience

• Connected solutions, IoT, telemetry, fleet management, or construction technology exposure

• Data mapping, data enrichment, or data integration experience

• Experience working with offshore development teams

• AS400 exposure

• Experience working on platform-based products
