Lead Mobile Platform Engineer

Salary: $112,700 - 193,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• We need strong experience with cross-platform frameworks, with React Native preferred, or the ability to quickly learn and adopt them.
• We expect mobile development experience in iOS with Swift and/or Android with Kotlin or Java.
• We look for a proven track record of building scalable mobile platforms.
• We require experience providing technical direction and leading engineering teams.
• We need familiarity with APIs such as REST or GraphQL, cloud platforms, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Preferred experience includes React Native in production, native-to-cross-platform transitions, AI/ML integration in mobile, platform-level shared mobile capabilities, and working on global-scale apps with high performance and reliability.

• We define and lead the technical roadmap for our cross-platform and native mobile solutions.
• We build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile code across platform layers.
• We guide the adoption and ongoing evolution of React Native while modernizing native mobile capabilities.
• We create shared libraries, SDKs, and platform components that streamline mobile development.
• We ensure our applications remain high-performing, secure, and dependable.
• We partner with product, backend, and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• We provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across the mobile platform.
• We steer architectural modernization efforts, including transitions between native and cross-platform approaches.
• We design, develop, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into mobile platform solutions with a focus on responsible and secure implementation.
• We use enterprise-approved AI tools to improve workflows, automate tasks, and boost engineering productivity.
• We evaluate and adopt modern technologies, including AI-enabled features, to improve performance, scalability, and innovation.
