Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead SkillUp MENA's marketing strategy and accelerate brand growth across the MENA region. The CMO will oversee all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, demand generation, product marketing, communications, content strategy, and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate has extensive B2B marketing experience in SaaS, EdTech, HRTech, Learning & Development, or technology industries and has a proven track record of building scalable marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Build and strengthen SkillUp MENA's brand positioning across the MENA region.
• Lead demand generation initiatives to increase qualified leads and sales pipeline.
• Develop integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, events, PR, and partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to achieve revenue goals.
• Build a high-performing marketing team and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Own the marketing budget and maximize ROI across all marketing investments.
• Oversee content strategy, thought leadership, case studies, webinars, and corporate communications.
• Lead product marketing initiatives for new learning solutions, AI products, academies, and digital platforms.
• Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Define and track KPIs including CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
• Manage external agencies, media partners, and strategic marketing vendors.
• Represent SkillUp MENA at regional conferences, industry events, and executive forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive marketing experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior marketing leadership role (Director, VP Marketing, or CMO).
• Experience in B2B marketing within EdTech, SaaS, HRTech, Learning & Development, Technology, or Consulting sectors.
• Demonstrated success in scaling regional marketing operations across multiple MENA markets.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, SEO, content marketing, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
