RN-Cath Lab | Travel | Not Provided Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the RN-Cath Lab unit in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in intermediate care, particularly with cardiac and stroke patients. This role requires proficiency in IV titration and experience with various RT equipment.

• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:3-4
• Weekend Requirements: Rotation dependent on unit needs
• Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday scheduled
• Floating Requirements: Expected to float except to ER & OB

Responsibilities

• Administer care for patients in the IMCU unit
• Interpret cardiac monitor strips
• Titrate IV drips such as Heparin, Nitro, and Cardizem
• Collaborate with charge nurse and CNAs for patient care
• Utilize BiPap and high-flow RT equipment effectively

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or application in process
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certification
• Experience with trach care, stroke management, and IV titration
