Must-Have: - Blood Product Administration - Care of Ventilated Patient - Emergency Medications - Interpret and Manage Dysrhythmias - Obtain 12-Lead EKG/ECG - Phlebotomy - Starting and Maintaining IVs - Triage Description: The Emergency Room is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse. The role involves providing care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be part of a team managing various patient situations. Daily patient census is up to 85, requiring strong assessment skills. The environment includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The staff works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Patient diagnoses include trauma and various emergency situations. The facility has 21 rooms and sees a significant number of visits daily. The nurse must work weekends every other week. No on-call duty is required for this position. The ability to float within service lines is expected. Focus on timely patient assessments and interventions is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective team collaboration. Completion of pre-start modules may be required before starting. The contract length is firm, and adherence to the schedule is mandatory. All time off must be finalized at the time of submission with no new requests afterward.
