The position involves working in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The nurse will manage patient care across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Emergency cases will include trauma and other critical conditions. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 4:1. Applicants must possess strong skills in triage, IV maintenance, and emergency medication administration. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory, along with other relevant certifications. The role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Applicants should be open to working weekends, with every other weekend required. Floating to other units within the service line may be expected based on facility needs. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in community hospitals.
