Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: License in hand required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS & BCLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience (2 years preferred) - Patient ratio experience of 4 - Charting system experience preferred - Blood product administration skills - Care of ventilated patients - Management of dysrhythmias - Starting and maintaining IVs - Triage experience Description: Emergency Room nursing positions available for night shifts. The role involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Daily census averages around 85 visits. The unit sees various emergency department patients, including trauma cases, but is not a designated trauma center. Interdisciplinary support includes a unit secretary. The department has a fast-track area utilized for rapid patient assessment to accommodate volume demands. The expected patient ratio is 4 per nurse on all shifts. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications, including ACLS and BCLS. This is a travel position; local candidates within a certain radius will not be accepted. Compliance requirements must be met prior to the start of the assignment. No additional requests for time off will be accommodated post-submission. All travelers will float within the service line as needed.
