Oncology - Locums

Clinician Type: NP/PA Unit/Dept: Oncology (Hematology/Oncology would be beneficial) Unit Details: Clinical Setting | Infusion Center | No Call Daily Patient Volume: estimated 10-15 patient per day. Mainly all calls for infusion center – may see 2-4 patients daily in person in the infusion center. Infusion triaging, in basket coverage, and ER triaging. Additional Providers/Support Staff: RN and LVNs on Staff, Oncologist Physicians there to support EMR System(s): Epic Lic/Certs : CA Lic preferred | will consider licensing candidates | AHA BLS & ACLS BC/BE : BC in either Oncology or Hematology Credentialing Time Frame: 45-60 days Start Date: ASAC Duration: 3-6 month Commitment Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm Housing/Travel: All Inclusive Pay Structure: Preset Notes: No Leukemia – sending out to local providers for induction/stabilization and then to Roseville and/or Stanford for treatment Required exp: Daily Responsibilities: Doing blood, IV's, Hydration, Med Orders, Chemo Orders ––taking calls for patients calling in with questions but also seeing and assisting in the infusion center with any patients that need assistance. (RN's will do the Infusions) Fluoroscopy experience preferred. Preferred exp: Hematology - Oncology
