We strive to provide our community with access to a natural alternative to traditional medicine while creating well-paying jobs and advocating for legislation recognizing the medicinal potential of cannabis.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Processing Operator will assist in the filling, packaging, and labeling of cannabis products, including but not limited to: finished flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, and other infused products. The Processing Operator will comply with guidelines set forth by the CCB to ensure quality and internal goals are met as outlined by management. These specific functions are more fully explained below:Transports plants from drying rooms to the trim roomHandle, transport, and dispose of any waste material from trim roomsRecord wet and dry weight for all product including flowers and trimAssist in the filling, packaging, and labeling of cannabis productsAssist with bulk packaging, transfer, and storing of cannabis productsEnsure products are processed in a quick and efficient mannerPerform proper techniques for harvesting, drying and curing cannabisCollaborate with farm employees, dispensary employees, and other staff to ensure internal goals are metFollow appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of batches and/or weights of batchesComply with regulatory guidelines including CCB/EBCI regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, facility maintenance, and work schedulesParticipate in the operation of and training for specialized packaging and processing equipmentEnsure all production/processing areas/equipment at farm and dispensary are clean and sanitized at all times according to standard operating proceduresOther duties as assigned by managementKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Must be detail oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.Must have a neat appearance with good personal hygiene.Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually without close supervision.Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, including flexible and/or extended hours as needed.Strong work ethic.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Must complete training on Qualla Enterprises machine operations within 6 months of hire.Physical Demands:Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and working conditions as dictated by an agricultural environmentAbility to work 10 to 20 feet off the ground using laddersManual dexterity to reach and handle small items, and work with fingers generallyAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods** The above list is not an exhaustive list of all job duties, requirements and physical demands.
