Principal IT Operations Architect

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 7+ years of applied experience, along with formal training or certification in architecture concepts.
• We need hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

• We need a track record of influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern architecture.

• We require deep expertise in infrastructure architecture, including IT service management, monitoring and observability, cloud compute and storage, application integration, IT asset management, network administration, and systems administration.
• We need a strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud operating models, including resilience, identity, secrets, networking, and secure operations.
• We value advanced certifications in cloud, enterprise architecture, ITSM, SRE, or security disciplines.
• We require demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within architecture workflows, including validation practices and awareness of sensitive data handling.

• We advise on and lead architecture strategy across multiple products, applications, and technologies within a portfolio.
• We translate highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches for leadership to support innovation and informed target-state decisions.
• We drive adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized areas, aligned with the latest product development practices.
• We establish and lead an architecture governance body.
• We create durable, reusable software frameworks that improve speed and output quality across teams and functions.
• We partner across domains to reduce tooling duplication, clarify ownership, and maintain authoritative technology status and lifecycle governance.
• We improve decision traceability, cost-performance outcomes, and review-board effectiveness through clear standards, metrics, and architectural guardrails.
• We evaluate emerging capabilities for enterprise suitability and adoption readiness.
• We lead reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis, option evaluation, and delivery of strategic global solutions, with human validation and appropriate sensitive data handling.
• We establish portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows used in architecture and engineering governance, including traceability, auditability, and control expectations aligned to resilience and security standards.
