Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Corporate Emcee/Event Host located in Boston, MA. The Corporate Emcee/Event Host will lead corporate volunteering events, welcoming participants, introducing the agenda, and maintaining energy and engagement throughout the sessions. Responsibilities include clearly communicating event objectives, guiding participants through activities, facilitating interactions between volunteers and nonprofit partners, and ensuring smooth transitions between segments. The host will manage basic event logistics on-site, respond to participant questions, and collaborate with Goodera’s operations team to deliver a consistent and professional experience. The role may also involve gathering feedback from attendees, sharing key highlights, and representing Goodera’s mission and values during every event. Qualifications Strong Communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently and clearly. Customer Service and client-facing experience, with a focus on creating positive, welcoming, and inclusive event environments. Experience in Training, facilitation, or leading group activities, ideally in corporate, nonprofit, or hospitality settings. Background in Food & Beverage or hospitality operations is beneficial for managing on-site event flow and guest experience. Sales or promotional experience is valuable for representing Goodera’s programs and encouraging ongoing participation. Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and punctuality for corporate events. Ability to work on-site in Boston, MA, including occasional evenings or weekdays as required by event schedules. Prior experience as an emcee, event host, entertainer, or facilitator is strongly preferred.
