Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive WA

The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive leverages targeted geographic analysis and engages with physician offices to influence clinicians to route patients’ specialty drug prescriptions to Humana Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The role focuses on increasing orders to our pharmacy, leading to higher prescriptions and revenues. Key responsibilities include building relationships with front‑office and back‑office staff across the territory, conducting sales calls at medical clinics, and providing education on specialty pharmacy medication options and Humana pharmacy benefits. The territory covers Seattle, Spokane, Takoma, Bellingham, and Lakewood, Washington. Responsibilities Engage physician offices and clinic staff to promote Humana Specialty Pharmacy. Conduct front‑office and back‑office sales calls within the designated territory. Educate staff on patient use of specialty pharmacy medications and options for lower cost, easier approvals, and comprehensive cycle of care. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on specialty pharmacy drugs and Humana benefits. Manage a sales territory that includes CenterWell, a Humana‑owned brand offering primary care, home health, and pharmacy services. Required Qualifications Previous sales experience with documented success. Experience in a healthcare or managed‑care environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Comfortable with daily travel; approximately 70% on the road. Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (minimum 100/300/100 limits). The driving record will be evaluated as part of a third‑party background check. Preferred Qualifications Experience with pharmacy reporting, pharmaceutical industry, or specialty pharmacy. Self‑motivation and ability to analyze sales data and market trends. Academic background: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Exposure to pharmaceutical contracting language. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Bilingual in English and Spanish, with ability to read, write, and speak both languages fluently. Experience in a pharmacy or managed‑care setting. Compensation Base salary: $84,700 – $115,500 per year (depending on geographic location and experience). The position is eligible for a commission incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
