ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Service Manager to run the service department at our brand-new Methuen CDJR store. You will own the service drive, the shop floor, the numbers, and the team. Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Technicians, Lube Techs, and Porters all report through you. This is a P&L seat - you're running a business inside the business, and you'll have the tools, the equipment, and the leadership backing to do it right. Compensation: $125,000-$205,000 per year (base + bonuses on customer-pay gross, hours per RO, CSI, and department net profit). Top of the range goes to proven CDJR / high-volume Service Managers who can hit numbers and hold CSI at the same time. RESPONSIBILITIES Own the full P&L of the service department - customer-pay, warranty, and internal Lead Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Technicians, Lube Techs, and Porters - hire, train, coach, and hold accountable Drive customer-pay gross, hours per RO, effective labor rate, and dispatch efficiency Own CSI - every customer, every RO, every survey; recover unhappy customers personally when it matters Manage shop capacity, technician productivity, and proficiency; balance the schedule against demand Partner with the Parts Manager on stocking, campaigns, and back-counter flow Execute Mopar / FCA warranty policies with clean claims and low chargebacks Run daily save-a-RO, hold weekly one-on-ones with advisors, and lead monthly team meetings Recruit, hire, and onboard technicians and advisors - build the bench Own service marketing, retention campaigns, and equity / service-to-sales opportunities in partnership with the BDC Report to the GM on department performance, KPIs, and forecast QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of automotive Service Manager experience required - this is not an entry-level role CDJR / Mopar dealership service leadership experience strongly preferred Proventrack recordof driving customer-pay gross, HPR, and department net while holding CSI Deep understanding of warranty submission,op-codes, labor times, and manufacturer policy Strong recruiter, coach, and leader - you can build and retain a team Proficiency with dealership DMS (Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack) and manufacturer service systems Excellent leadership, communication, and follow-through skills Process-driven leader who runs the day - not the other way around Valid driver's license with a clean driving record WHY JOIN OUR TEAM Brand-new shop.
