Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the emergency department using the nursing process as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, perform urgent interventions, and respond to emergencies
- Teach patients and significant others about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
- Maintain competencies in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS; participate in required resuscitation protocols as applicable

Requirements
- Oregon Registered Nurse license (active or ability to obtain/activate)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS (AHA) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a nights-based travel assignment
