Radiology Technologist, FT, Days, $70.00/hr, StaffFlex contract

About the Role StaffFlex 13‑week contract. $70.00/hr. Full Time, Days, 7am‑7:30pm. Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Monday, Thursday, Friday. On call once a month for 24 hours. Example: Monday PM 18:00‑00:00, Tuesday AM 00:00‑05:30, Tuesday PM 18:00‑00:00, Wednesday 00:00‑05:30. Must have OR with OEC C‑Arms and O‑Arms experience. Will work with general, ortho, spine, and neuro surgeons. Responsibilities Perform radiographic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Position, move, and assist patients to ensure accurate imaging results. Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment. Demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary. Screen patients for any contrast allergies and ensure proper identification of patients prior to performing exams. Educate patients about the imaging procedure and address any concerns. Practice infection control standards and utilize approved procedures to ensure patient and staff safety. Maintain a properly stocked, organized, and clean imaging room. Perform clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling. Monitor patient condition and care for patient comfort, safety, and privacy during imaging procedures. Obtain and document patient history and explain procedures to patients. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have OR with OEC C‑Arms and O‑Arms experience. Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English. [Required] Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. [Required] Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. [Preferred] Education Associate's from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or JCERT accreditation. [Required] High School Grad or Equivalent. [Required] Field of Study N/A Work Experience Must have OR with OEC C‑Arms and O‑Arms experience.
