Registered Nurse (RN) -Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Salina, KS Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards. Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, and wound care. Engage in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care post-discharge. Qualifications You need an Associate\'s Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma from a school that is recognized - This is a must. We welcome new graduates! You must have a BLS Certification - This is also required. You need to have a current Registered Nurse License in Kansas - This is necessary.
