NetSuite Systems Administrator The NetSuite Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, support, documentation, and continuous improvement of Ashoka's global NetSuite OneWorld environment, with administrative support for NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB). Operating across approximately 30 countries, the organization is at varying stages of NetSuite adoption and implementation. This role will help strengthen the existing environment while supporting continued rollout, remediation, and standardization of financial systems and processes across the global organization. The Systems Administrator will serve as a key bridge between Finance, Accounting, country offices, and internal and external technology resources. The successful candidate will combine strong NetSuite technical skills with an understanding of accounting and financial processes and the ability to work effectively with users across multiple countries, cultures, and levels of technical sophistication. This is a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and helping users get more value from NetSuite. $110,000 - $130,000 a year Key Responsibilities NetSuite Administration & Support Global Implementation & Standardization Finance Process & Reporting Support Systems Improvement & Integration Data Governance, Controls & Security Training & User Adoption Qualifications Required Approximately 3–6 years of experience administering or supporting NetSuite in a complex organization. Hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, roles and permissions, workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and system administration. Strong understanding of core accounting and financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, close, and financial reporting. Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-subsidiary environments within a grant-making organization. Familiarity with nonprofit accounting, fund/grant accounting, donor restrictions, or project/program reporting. Demonstrated ability to diagnose systems and data problems and develop practical solutions. Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system improvements. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating with geographically dispersed teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical colleagues. Success in This Role During the first 12–18 months, success will include: Establishing reliable day-to-day administration and support for the global NetSuite environment. Completing a current-state system/configuration inventory and improving system documentation, user access, data quality, and administrative controls. Supporting successful implementation or deeper adoption of NetSuite in additional country operations, which may include partnering with an external implementation team. Reducing manual workarounds and improving consistency of financial processes across countries. Improving the quality and timeliness of global financial reporting and consolidation. Developing useful dashboards, reporting tools, and system-enabled processes for Finance leadership and country teams. Creating a scalable support and governance model as the organization moves toward fuller global adoption of NetSuite. Key Working Relationships The NetSuite Systems Administrator will work closely with: CFO and Finance leadership, Controller and Accounting team, FP&A and Treasury, Country finance and operations teams, IT and information-security resources, Internal audit and external auditors, NetSuite implementation partners and other external technology providers. Profile of the Successful Candidate The successful candidate will be a practical systems problem-solver who understands that a global ERP implementation is as much about people, processes, and data discipline as technology. They will be comfortable moving between troubleshooting user issues, configuring NetSuite, working through accounting-process questions, and helping country teams adopt new ways of working. They will have enough NetSuite expertise to operate independently while recognizing when specialist support is required, and will be motivated by building a more consistent, transparent, and effective global financial infrastructure that supports the organization's mission.
