We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to join and grow in the PPG organization.The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all daily manufacturing operations. This role provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The Operations Manager drives performance across production, workforce development, and process efficiency while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and quality.Highlights and BenefitsQuarterly profit-sharing bonus; eligible upon hirePaid time off401(k) with company matchPaid holidaysTuition / professional development reimbursementHealth, dental, and vision insuranceOptional HSA with company contributionShort-term disability, long term disability, and life insurance at no costLimitless opportunity for advancementRequirementsProvide leadership and direction to production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectivesEnsure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and all applicable regulatory and contractual requirementsOversee daily operations including production scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimizationLead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leads to strengthen leadership capability and succession planningDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, process standardization)Implement and maintain effective training programs to ensure workforce competency and adaptability to process changesCollaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR to support operational goalsEnsure effective communication across shifts and departments to maintain alignment and operational continuityRepresent the organization professionally with customers, auditors, and external stakeholders as requiredLead by example in demonstrating company values, ethical standards, and commitment to excellenceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience in a precision manufacturing environment)Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, power generation or other highly regulated manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve measurable resultsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisionsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organizationExperience in production planning, capacity management, and resource allocationAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCommitment to safety, quality, and regulatory complianceDemonstrated experience navigating OEM requirements, particularly as they relate to the manufacturing and quality standards for engine components.United States citizenship is required for this role
