General Laborer – Industrial Yard

Location: Lafayette, LA
Pay: $15.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to work in an industrial yard environment. This position involves physical labor, operating a forklift, blending chemicals, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with general yard duties.

Responsibilities:

Blend and handle chemicals according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
Perform general industrial yard work and cleanup.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Walk up and down catwalks throughout the workday (approximately 4 steps).
Frequently reach, bend, lift, push, and pull as needed.
Lift and move materials as required for the job.
Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous industrial, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, climb steps, and lift materials.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team.
