Quality Manager Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field required. Previous Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or manufacturing quality leadership experience in an industrial environment. Hands‑on experience managing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and conducting internal quality audits. Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Minitab, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and precision measuring equipment, including CMM, Keyence IM, Romer Arm, and other quality inspection tools. Experience performing root cause analysis using 8D, CAPA, NCR, and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with experience supervising Quality Control personnel. Experience with DoD/Military quality standards is preferred. Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, stand and walk throughout the shift, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
