Position: Occupational Therapist (PRN) Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park Location: Fort Myers, Florida Shift: PRN Salary: $57 per hour Join our dedicated rehabilitation team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, resident-centered therapy on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with nursing, administration, and other departments to deliver comprehensive and effective therapy services. Develop, implement, and maintain occupational therapy standards and care plans that ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes. Participate in resident evaluations, care planning, progress reviews, and discharge coordination. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, resident progress, and treatment outcomes. Assist with updating therapy protocols to reflect current clinical practices and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to therapy staff in coordination with the Director of Rehabilitation. Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement projects. Serve as a key point of contact for residents and families, fostering positive communication and trust. Manage administrative duties, including completing medical documentation, reports, and billing information accurately. Qualifications Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Florida. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting. Solid understanding of therapy regulations, documentation standards, and rehabilitation best practices. Excellent communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.
