School NurseLocation: Hanna Woods Elementary School Calendar: 9.5 months of the year; 7 hr. days Open Date: 7/30/2022 Closing Date: When Filled Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the daily operation of the health room, teaching of health-related topics in classrooms, and advisor to staff concerning health issues. Mobility required to move in and around buildings. Requires effective written, verbal, and non-verbal means of communication. Qualifications Required: BSN, current Missouri nursing license, current CPR certification, excellent nursing assessment skills, strong organizational skills, and must be able to work independently. Will also need the ability to promote and participate in the health and well-being of children. Qualifications Preferred: Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, community health or emergency room. Experience with special needs students. Should have computer skills, be flexible, and be detail-oriented.
