Senior Estimator

Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year. Job Details Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts by preparing conceptual through GMP estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, managing bid packages, and developing accurate project budgets for complex commercial construction projects. Drive value engineering and cost optimization through constructability reviews, Target Value Design (TVD), comparative cost analyses, and alternative pricing strategies to maximize project value while meeting client objectives. Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, operations, and trade partners throughout the preconstruction process to ensure complete scope coverage, competitive pricing, and seamless project execution. Manage subcontractor bidding and procurement activities, including coordinating bid invitations, evaluating proposals, identifying scope gaps and overlaps, and ensuring accurate, well-supported pricing based on current market conditions. Utilize advanced construction technology and industry expertise including BIM for quantity takeoffs, commercial estimating software, and a strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, contract documents, and project logistics to deliver accurate, competitive estimates.
