About the role:
- Source and evaluate affordable multifamily acquisition opportunities, including LIHTC and Section 8 properties.
- Build financial models to assess property cash flows, financing options, renovation costs, and investment returns.
- Lead due diligence by reviewing financials, affordability restrictions, subsidy contracts, and property conditions.
- Prepare investment committee materials and coordinate with lenders, brokers, attorneys, and sellers through closing.
- Work with asset management and construction teams to develop business plans that improve property performance and preserve affordability.
