Maestro II EHS - Primeros Pasos

Bajo la supervisión general del Director Regional del Sitio/Director del Sitio, entrega servicios de Desarrollo Infantil de Alta Calidad a los lactantes y niños pequeños inscritos en programas del centro, incluyendo el desarrollo educativo, social, físico, nutricional y psicológico de los niños bajo su cuidado. Se comunica con los padres sobre el progreso individual de su hijo y mantiene registros de asistencia y logros educativos. Planifica lecciones, sirve comidas y asegura un ambiente de aprendizaje saludable y seguro para los niños. Responsabilidades Alentar y apoyar a los padres en los procesos de evaluación y cribado de los niños. Preparar ambientes de aprendizaje para lactantes y niños pequeños. Mantener relaciones positivas con las familias. Llevar a cabo visitas a hogares y conferencias para padres. Completar la documentación necesaria. Asistir a reuniones y capacitaciones. Apoyar los objetivos de reclutamiento y matrícula. Acceder a recursos comunitarios para el apoyo del programa. Requisitos Permiso de Enseñanza de Desarrollo Infantil de California válido o permisos de nivel superior. Al menos tres (3) unidades semestrales en desarrollo infantil con un enfoque en el desarrollo de lactantes y niños pequeños, con un total de seis (6) unidades dentro del primer año de empleo. Dos (2) años de experiencia como personal pagado/voluntario en un centro de cuidado infantil licenciado que sirva a niños menores de 5 años. Completar 15 horas reloj de desarrollo profesional anualmente, con al menos la mitad (7.5) centradas en contenido específico. Completar un Plan de Desarrollo Profesional (PDP) anual revisado 3 veces durante el año. Obtener 21 horas/año de desarrollo profesional (105 horas cada cinco años) para mantener certificación de enseñanza. El candidato debe tener al menos 18 años. Condiciones de trabajo y demandas físicas Entorno preescolar con niveles de ruido moderados. Supervisión al aire libre e interior de patios de recreo y lugares de trabajo durante períodos continuos. Levantar y cargar hasta 45 lbs. o más. Trabajar con niños a su nivel visual y mantener siempre la supervisión visual de los niños. Escuchar, comunicarse y comprender efectivamente con niños, personal y padres.
