As an integral member of the clinical team, you will perform patient care duties within the scope of your certification, assist with treatments and procedures, and facilitate efficient patient flow. You will prepare patients for exams, administer immunizations under supervision, and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and follow provider orders promptly and accurately.
• Assist with clinical procedures, ensuring all necessary consents and supplies are in place.
• Communicate test results to patients as directed by providers.
• Administer immunizations within scope and maintain proper documentation.
• Manage exam room readiness, including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure timely processing of consults and diagnostics.
• Adhere to infection control practices and support a safe, welcoming environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise independent judgment, and work collaboratively.

Work Environment
