Senior Accountant

A fast-growing AI technology company is seeking a Senior Accountant, General Ledger to join its expanding Finance & Accounting team. This is a highly visible, hands-on opportunity to join a company during an exciting stage of growth and help strengthen its accounting infrastructure.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close, balance sheet accounting, financial reporting, lease accounting, audit support, and process improvements. This person will also help build scalable accounting processes and controls as the organization continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the monthly general ledger close, including journal entries and reconciliationsManage balance sheet areas including cash, intercompany, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll accruals, and leasesOwn and maintain ASC 842 lease accounting and related schedulesPrepare monthly financial statements and flux analysisSupport external audits and prepare audit-ready workpapersAssist with ERP improvements and accounting process enhancementsHelp develop scalable controls, procedures, and close processesRequirements 3+ years of progressive accounting or public accounting experienceOpen to candidates coming straight from Big 4Big 4 candidates should have experience working with technology or similar complex clientsStrong ASC 842 / lease accounting experience requiredStrong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reportingExperience supporting audits and working with complex balance sheet accountsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong Excel and analytical skillsNice to HaveCPA or CPA candidateBig 4 backgroundTechnology industry experienceSFOTNTSA_1793753628
